The lady of heaven
Principal Goddess of the mesopotamien Pantheon, she has been originally,
only the universal current that leads human beeings to join in reproduction,or
that makes plants germinate in the earth. Identified to Ishtar, the
semite, death and destruction, her name derives from Ninanna: lady of
heaven, she is a dominant Goddess who reigns over Gods, and has no husband
or offspring. She will be Isis, Demeter, venus, Cybèle, Diane and others,
daughter of the great Goddess of time, of all that has been, that is
and will be.
Innana can symbolize feminine power, everyone agrees she has the power
of creating and protecting nature, humans and animals. Her name could
be connected to Allat, the feminine of Allah.

and her palms. So woman can pray with face uncovered. She can show her
feet, because feet are part of legal nakedness. They have the same status
as the face... »
