Venus in roman times, Aphrodite in greek, Goddess of beauty and physical love. She is supposed to have arisen from the foam of the waves and danced on the sea.
She seduced and deceived everyone and, had the power to inspire the greatest passions. She persecuted her rivals and her vengeances where pitiless. She is supposed to be Eros's mother ( Cupidon, God of love desire ).
Venus is the incarnation of pleasure and universal fertility. She is associated with twilight, joyful symbol of awakening.
One assigns to her the symbol of the moon, the law of cyclical life and protection of the vegetable garden.
Venus is the first star of the night. It is the evening star, a planet whose original quality is to turn in the opposite direction ofrom other planets. She is associated with friday ( day of Venus).
